The Impergium is why humans fear the dark, its tingle on the back of  your neck, the reason for your fight or flight instinct. You can thank  the Werewolves and the Ratkin for many commonly held beliefs and fears. There Garou were ultimately responsible but they also had some help from  other Fera.
