Dr. Sheila Dunn-Merritt As one of the first graduates of Bastyr, Dr. Dunn-Merritt studied with the pioneers in the field of natural medicine including Bastyr University's namesake, the late, Dr. John Bastyr, the co-founders of Bastyr: Dr. Joe Pizorrno and the late Dr. William Mitchell. Dr. Dunn-Merritt's unique education of nursing and naturopathic medicine blend the basic sciences of MD's with knowledge of noninvasive, natural therapies. Dr. Dunn-Merritt offers her patient's decades of clinical experience, with strong skills emphasizing correct diagnosis, supportive treatments, prevention and wellness. Dr. Dunn-Merritt has studied homeopathy extensively over the last 26 years. She has received training with the Paul Herscu, ND, of the New England School of Homeopathy, the NW Institute of Homeopathy, and attended seminars with world famous homeopaths including: Louis Klein of Canada, Robert and Judyth Reichenberg-Ullman ND, Roger Morrison, MD, Jayash Shaw, and Rajan Sancran of India. She completed training at the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) which trains doctors to diagnose and treat patients with chronic, complex conditions.
