Welcome back, Midnighters!
The energy of this week's The Midnight Project #124 is undeniable, with tracks that pulsate from start to finish. As always, I’m here to break down some of the gems in this mix, taking us on a journey through the artistry behind the sound.
Starting with a heavy hitter, DJ Murphy and Dolby D's Scream Art gets a fierce reimagining through the lens of T78. Known for his raw, driving beats, T78 has consistently pushed boundaries in the techno scene. His remix style takes the original to a darker, more powerful place, perfect for those late-night moments when you lose yourself in the rhythm.
Another standout track is by NoNameLeft, whose Redux (Extended Mix) delivers that signature blend of melodic and hard-hitting beats. This duo has been gaining serious traction and is known for crafting tracks that balance atmosphere and aggression, making them a force in the European techno underground.
Space 92 never disappoints; Lost (Original Mix) is no exception. Thanks to his high-energy sound, full of punch and groove, he has been a staple in my sets for a while now. With its hypnotic synths and thundering basslines, this track is one you’ll want to experience on the most giant speakers you can find.
These are just a few of the tracks that really stood out for me this week, but the whole story of this mix lies in the entire selection. You can check out the full tracklist at https://www.1001tracklists.com/source/80bhhv/the-midnight-project/index.html to dive deeper into every moment.

Midnighters, I’m back from Ibiza and now in Valencia, and I'm already preparing for an exciting stop in Amsterdam soon. This week’s episode of The Midnight Project is packed with powerful tracks to keep you moving.

Hey Midnighters!
I've been eagerly waiting to share this week’s episode of The Midnight Project with you. I’ve included some of my latest remixes that I think you’ll love. They’re woven into a powerful and profoundly immersive set, perfect for those who live and breathe techno.
We dive into the energy with Marie Vaunt & Belocca's "Lost In Rhythm." Marie Vaunt has been a rising star, consistently delivering tracks that resonate with the underground pulse. What makes this track stand out even more is the collaboration with Belocca. He’s a true veteran in the scene, with a career that spans decades. Belocca’s signature style fuses classic techno elements with modern twists, making his tracks instantly recognizable. "Lost In Rhythm" is a perfect example of how Belocca can take a deep, rolling bassline and turn it into something hypnotic and powerful.
Now, let’s talk about the remixes I’ve been working on. You’ll first hear my remix of Sergio Marini and Luke's "Whoopee." I wanted to amplify the original's raw energy, adding my signature touch to give it that extra punch. It’s a high-energy track that keeps building and building, and I’m thrilled with how it turned out.
Later in the set, you’ll catch my remix of Horatio and Pagano's "Raving Adventure." This remix was all about capturing the essence of an authentic rave experience. I focused on keeping the vibe intense and immersive, with a driving beat that doesn’t let up. It’s a track designed to make you lose yourself in the rhythm.
And if that wasn’t enough, I’ve also included my remix of Slim Black's "Eternum." This track allowed me to dive deep into the atmospheric side of techno, blending haunting melodies with a relentless beat that carries you through to the very end.
The full tracklist is available at 1001 Tracklists, so be sure to check it out at https://www.1001tracklists.com/source/80bhhv/the-midnight-project/index.html and see what else is in the mix this week!

Midnighters, what a week! I just had the best experience at Desancho Estilistas, one of the most extraordinary hairdressers in Valencia. If you’re ever in the city, you’ve got to check them out. The vibe was excellent, and they gave me a fresh new look that has me feeling ready to take on anything. It’s incredible how a great haircut can change your energy, right?
This week’s mix is all about that same kind of energy – sharp, fresh, and ready to move.
First, we have Reality Check by NoNameLeft and Daniel Weirdo. NoNameLeft has been making serious waves with their dark, groovy beats, and Daniel Weirdo adds his own gritty touch to this track. It’s got that perfect balance of raw power and precision that gets the crowd going.
Next, let’s talk about Strangers Humans by Emmy Skyer. Emmy brings her signature melodic depth to this one, blending emotion with a relentless techno rhythm. She’s a master at telling a story through sound, and this track is no exception – it pulls you in and keeps you locked to the beat.
And finally, one of my favorites this week: Woo York and PÔNGO’s Talking to Myself, remixed by the legend Wehbba. Woo York’s original was a killer track, but Wehbba’s remix cranks it up with heavier kicks and an even darker atmosphere. This one is a dancefloor weapon, no doubt about it.

"Retox" is no exception—it's a track that hits hard and keeps the momentum going, perfectly capturing the raw energy of this episode.
Celic, Patrick Scuro, and VNES deliver pure fire with "TANZ MIT MIR." Patrick Scuro’s raw, underground energy is unmistakable in this track. It’s got that relentless drive that we live for, making it impossible to sit still. This is techno in its purest form, meant to be felt as much as heard.

Hey Midnighters,
This week’s episode of The Midnight Project is extraordinary—not only because of the incredible tracks I’ve lined up but also because it’s the first show I’m producing from my new home in Spain. The energy of this place is already inspiring my work, and I can’t wait to share it with you.
We kick things off with Victor Ruiz’s “Energy (Original Mix),” a track that perfectly captures the vibrant, electrifying spirit of the techno scene. Victor has a knack for creating music that hits you right in the soul; this one is no exception. It’s the perfect way to set the tone for what’s to come.
I’m also excited to include a personal favorite of mine, “Coming (Original Mix).” Even though it’s been out for a year now, this track resonates with listeners and holds a special place in my sets. It encapsulates a lot of my journey in the techno world—deep bass lines, melodic touches, and a rhythm that just won’t quit. Every time I play it, it brings back the energy and passion that went into creating it.
Don’t miss my remix of Sergio Marini and Luke’s “Whoopee.” I had a lot of fun reimagining this track, giving it a darker driving edge that’s perfect for those moments when you need the music to push you further. It’s all about balancing intensity and rhythm, which I always strive for in my sets.
As always, this mix is a journey—a sonic exploration that takes you from the acid-infused beats of A*S*Y*S’s “Acid Phase” to the futuristic vibes of KAS:ST’s “2084 (Space 92 Extended Remix).” Each track has been carefully selected to take you deeper into the night, wherever you are.
The full tracklist is available at 1001 Tracklists: https://www.1001tracklists.com/source/80bhhv/the-midnight-project/index.html. I’d love to hear your thoughts—let me know which track resonated with you the most, and if there’s an artist you think should be featured next, drop me a message. As I travel through the stunning landscapes of France and Spain, I'm soaking up the energy of these vibrant places, which has been the perfect inspiration for this week's episode. There's something about the rhythm of life here that syncs beautifully with the deep, driving beats of techno. Whether you're tuning in for a workout, a long drive, or just some reflective moments, this mix is designed to keep you moving and in the zone.
This week, we start with "Nexus" by Bart Skils and SUDO, a track that immediately draws you in with its hypnotic groove. Bart Skils, a key figure on Adam Beyer’s Drumcode label, is known for his masterful ability to blend deep, rhythmic grooves with melodic elements. His collaboration with SUDO on this track mesmerizes, setting the perfect tone for the rest of the mix.
Next, we dive into my remix of "Whoopee" by Sergio Marini and Luke. Working on this remix was an exciting challenge, as I wanted to add flavor to the dynamic track. Sergio Marini is well-respected in the Italian techno scene and is known for seamlessly merging classic and modern sounds. Luke’s contribution adds an extra layer of depth, and I’m thrilled with how the remix turned out, pushing it further into peak-time territory.
Closing out this highlight is "Final Fight" by Cosmic Boys. These guys have been on a roll, consistently delivering tracks that light up the dancefloor. Hailing from France, Cosmic Boys has perfected a sound that combines powerful basslines with intricate synth work. Hello Midnighters,
It's Sebastiaan Hooft here, welcoming you to another pulsating episode of The Midnight Project. As always, we're diving into a unique blend of techno tracks, perfect for your workouts, drives, or those moments of reflection. This week, we've got a lineup that's particularly close to my heart, featuring incredible talents and mind-bending tunes.
First, discuss André Pillar's "Acid Language (Original Mix)." André's knack for integrating classic acid-house elements with modern techno is brilliant. His ability to create a soundscape that's both nostalgic and forward-thinking is what makes this track a perfect opener for our journey.
Then, Slim Black's " Eternum " is coming out on Redesign Records this month. Slim's approach to techno is deeply rooted in minimalism, yet the intensity in his tracks is hard to ignore. With its haunting melodies and relentless rhythm, "Eternum" is a testament to his skill in creating a powerful narrative through music.
A special mention goes to the "Raving Adventure (Sebastiaan Hooft Remix)" by Horatio and Pagano. Remixing this track was a journey in itself. Horatio and Pagano's original work provided a fantastic canvas, and I aimed to add my twist while respecting the essence of their creation. It's always exhilarating to work on remixes, and I hope this one resonates with you as much as it does with me.
Lastly, let's not forget "Neutral (Original Mix)" - a piece from yours truly. Crafting this track was a reflective process, delving into techno's deeper, more introspective side. It represents balance and calm amidst our often chaotic lives.
Remember, the full tracklist is available on 1001 Tracklists. I encourage you to explore the rest of the tracks and the artists behind them. Each one brings something unique to the table, contributing to the rich tapestry of this week's show.
As we journey through these soundscapes together, I hope you find a piece of yourself in the music. Subscribe to The Midnight Project for your weekly dose of techno, and let's keep this journey going.

Hey, Midnighters, Sebastiaan here with another episode of The Midnight Project, ready to kickstart your Wednesday at 6 AM. As always, we've got a lineup to energize your week.
This week, let's dive into the artistry behind two standout tracks. First up, we've got "Raving Adventure" remixed by yours truly. Horatio and Pagano originally crafted this gem, and I couldn't resist adding my spin. The result? A blend of their dynamic energy with my vision for a track that's both a nod to the classic techno vibe and a journey into new rhythmic territories.
Then, there's "Make Me Higher" by Joris Turenhout. This track caught my ear for its unique blend of melodic elements with a pulsating beat. Joris, relatively new to the scene, shows an impressive depth in this piece. It's as if he's speaking directly to our souls, elevating us to a higher state of musical bliss.
As for the rest of the lineup, it's a mix of familiar names and fresh talents. Each artist brings something special, creating a diverse and immersive experience. Remember, you can find the full tracklist on 1001 Tracklists.

Hey Techno Tribe, I hope you enjoy my special four-hour journey through the Best of Techno 2023. As we revel in this yearly ritual, I want to share some insights about the incredible artists who've graced this mix.
This year's lineup is a vibrant tapestry of techno talent. We start with Rebuke's 'Glow,' a track that perfectly sets the tone with its energetic beats. Following up, Zimmz's 'Qualia' and Danny Avila's 'Chase The Sun' add unique layers of intensity and rhythm. ANDATA's 'Concentrate' and the collaboration between Adam Beyer and Green Velvet on 'Simulator' showcase the depth and diversity of techno.
The remix of Planetary Assault Systems by Adam Beyer & Wehbba, and Beyer's solo 'Legend' offer a glimpse into the evolving nature of techno. Layton Giordani's 'Phantom' and the collaboration of Heerhorst, Teenage Mutants, and Peter Pahn on 'Dark Clouds' reflect the dynamic range of the genre.
We also dive into Victor Ruiz, Mha Iri, Mark Porter, and Lilly Palmer, each bringing their unique essence to the mix. UMEK, Maddix, and Charlotte de Witte's tracks are a nod to the powerful influence of these artists in the techno scene.
As for my contributions, including two tracks that charted in the top 10 this year, it is a thrill. Being a part of this vibrant community and contributing to the sound that defines us is an honor.
The mix also features the likes of Thomas Schumacher, Ramon Tapia, Belocca, Marie Vaunt, and Eli Brown, each artist adding their unique flavor to this diverse collection. The energy continues with tracks from artists like Space 92, Bart Skils, Raxon, Drunken Kong, and Green Velvet.
We journey through the imaginative remixes of Royksopp and the original vibes of Wehbba, UMEK, SAM WOLFE, Pleasurekraft, Joyhauser, and many more. The mix slows down with &ME's 'L.I.F.E,' a track that sums it up.
I hope this mix connects you deeper with the artists behind these tracks. Their stories, just like ours, are woven into the very fabric of the beats we love.
Thanks for joining me on this auditory adventure. Let's keep this energy alive and continue to share our love for techno and the lifestyle it represents.

Let's talk about Adam Beyer and Raxon's "The Signal (Night Mix)"—a track that opens our journey. The deep, throbbing basslines remind us of our heartbeats, keeping us alive and kicking. It's a song about communication, about reaching out through the noise of everyday life.
And then there's "Drop It Down" by Joyhauser and Eli Brown. It's more than just a track; it's a call to action. To drop down all barriers, to let loose, and to embrace the freedom that comes with the beat. It's a reminder of the balance we seek—between the highs of the music and the grounding reality of our lives.
Speaking of balance, did you catch the "Raving Adventure (Sebastiaan Hooft Remix)" by Horatio and Pagano? This one's special. It's not just a track; it's a journey. It's about the adventures we embark on, both physically and spiritually. It's a testament to our community's spirit—adventurous yet mindful, always seeking new horizons while staying true to our roots.

Dear Techno Travelers,
As the world revolves, every beat and pulse ties us closer to moments of introspection and connection. This week, in the 69th edition of The Midnight Project, I invite you to a soulful exploration that takes us through the varied landscapes of techno.
We embark with Victor Ruiz and Modeā's "Bloom," a track that feels like the first breath of spring, reminding us that there's a new beginning in every ending. Vikthor's collaboration with Galluxy brings a reflective piece titled "Mirror," reminding us of the dualities of life.
And while the cosmic allure of Julien Jeweil's "Mars" (remixed by Charles D) pulls us into the expanses of the universe, Supermode's iconic "Tell Me Why" gets a fresh twist with AdamK and Vikthor steering the controls.
AdamK and Vikthor return with their singular creation, "Don't Give In." It's a testament to our collective resilience, a call to remain steadfast in our passions. Mladen Tomic's "Fly With Me" elevates our spirit, and by the time Ignacio Arfeli urges you to "Feel The Bass," you're already levitating.
As we transition, André Pillar's plea "Have Mercy" adds an emotional depth, matched in intensity by Josh Richards' "High Roller." Push's "Hysteron" is a hypnotic masterpiece, luring us deeper into the techno abyss.
Space 92's "Time" reminds us of the relentless tick-tock of life, urging us to embrace every fleeting moment. As we conclude this audial journey, Yuuta and Ado (Col) offer a warm "Welcome To" their world, a fitting finale that promises more adventures.
This week's journey is not just about the beats but also the spaces in between, the silences that speak volumes, and the echoes that linger long after. It's a testament to the transformative power of music, especially when we listen with open hearts.
I hope this episode finds a special place in your soul. Life is a rhythm, and we're all dancing to it.
Till next time, stay connected stay inspired.

Happy Saturday to all techno fans out there! This week, The Midnight Project is bringing a uniquely curated episode featuring the dynamo duo setting the techno world ablaze: Tech Us Out.
For those who might not be familiar, Tech Us Out is the brainchild of label bosses Joe Cozzo and Chris Khaos, the driving forces behind TUO Records. Their unmatched dedication to the genre is evident through their extensive discography, spanning not only their imprint but also renowned labels such as S&S Records, Play Records, DIRIDIM, Eclipse Records, Shodan Records, Tres14, Natural Rhythm, Let's Techno Records, and many more.
Their prowess isn't just limited to releases. In February 2022, they triumphantly claimed the #1 spot on the Traxsource Top 100 Deep Tech Charts with "In N Out," closely followed by the #2 B-Side, a mesmerizing collaboration with Shawn Jackson. And let's not overlook the global acclamation they've garnered, with techno giants like Carl Cox, Horatio, T78, and Sama' Abdulhadi championing their tracks.
This episode blends these techno titans' tracks with my productions, weaving an immersive and electrifying sonic tapestry. From the captivating beats of Jay Lumen's 'Motherland' to the profound depth of my own 'Shelter,' we travel through various rhythms and emotions.
Collaborating with such influential figures in the industry is a true honor, especially given our shared connection through Horatio's Shodan Records. As we delve into this special edition, let's celebrate the shared passion, the unity in diversity, and the heartbeat that connects us all: techno.
Stay in rhythm and keep the techno spirit alive,
Sebastiaan Hooft

This week, I am eager to embark on this journey with you, beginning with a piece very dear to me, "Crest." I am beyond excited to let you experience it firsthand before its grand unveiling on Shodan this September 25th.
As we drift through this curated haven of sound, we encounter creators who are not merely musicians but narrators of the techno chronicle, echoing the genre's distinct spirit and pulse in every beat they craft. Talents such as Nicolas Taboada, Perpetual Universe, and the indomitable Tiger Stripes alongside Oscar Escapa craft experiences beyond just music; they are a pulse, a heartbeat, a journey.
In this curated collection of artistry, I couldn't pass the opportunity to share a fascinating tidbit about Tiger Stripes. Did you know that apart from creating reverberating techno tracks, he has a deep love for Jazz music? This fusion of love for different genres brings a distinct richness to his creations, a richness that we get to explore in this episode through "The Answer."
This communion we share transcends beats and rhythms; it's a testament to the vital force of techno, a rhythm that flows in us, nurturing our being, kindling a spirit of joy, and fostering a community bound by love for music and the ardency to live a balanced, healthy life.
So, with hearts full of anticipation and spirits alight with the vibrancy of techno, let's step into another week of exploration, music, and harmony. Here's to the joy of being, the pulse of techno, and the vibrant connection we share in this musical haven we call The Midnight Project.

Dear Techno Family,
As we welcome another vibrant week, I'm elated to share the latest episode of The Midnight Project. This isn't just another mix—it's our testament to the depths of our connection with techno and a narration of the stories, feelings, and passions that tie us together.
Opening with Teenage Mutants' "Now" was a deliberate choice. It speaks to the essence of living in the present, a philosophy that has always resonated with me. It's about immersing ourselves in every beat, every moment, embracing the now.
Every track, every transition, from Frank Biazzi's mesmerizing layers to Mha Iri's arresting rhythms, tells a story. It's a story of embracing life's twists and turns, much like the allure of "The Unexpected," or finding clarity in moments of chaos, as ANDATA's "Concentrate" so poignantly encapsulates.
Witnessing the genius of artists like Kaiserdisco and UMEK, with their distinctive acid and gabber nuances, reminds me of our unwavering commitment to pushing the envelope in techno. It's about redefining, evolving, and converging worlds to craft something unique.
Tracks by talents like Charles D (USA) and the sonic journey of Gregor Tresher are testaments to the incredible community we've fostered. It reflects the bonds we've forged, where every beat is a shared heartbeat, a collective pulse.
To all the devoted souls across the globe—from the bustling streets of New York to the techno havens of Amsterdam and Berlin—this mix is for you. It stands as a beacon of our dedication to living authentically, championing health, and finding balance amidst the fervor of techno.
Lose yourself in this mix, and let it fuel your workouts, drives, or those rare introspective moments. And always remember, our journey is sculpted by passion, balance, and an unyielding love for techno.
Let the rhythm guide you until our next techno adventure. Share your techno moments with me, and continue nurturing this community—one beat at a time.
With love and techno,
Sebastiaan Hooft 🖤🎵
