The one's for the people pleasers

Where are all my people pleasers at? *sees all the hands raised*

It feels like being a people pleaser would be a great thing. Who doesn't want to make others happy? But is that really what we're doing when we put everyone else's happiness and well-being before our own, or are we really just avoiding the discomfort that comes from setting boundaries?

Are we really concerned with appeasing other people, or are we concerned with how we'll be perceived if we don't?
