6: The Studio Owner

The masterpiece that is Ace Of Spades was conceived in the humble surroundings of Jackson Studio in Rickmansworth, just north west of London. Studio owner John Jackson and his daughter Sally Freeman, who also worked in the studio as a runner during the recording sessions, both lift the lid on what went down in the barn turned studio, where this legendary album was recorded. Presented by Howard Smith.
