Daniel, Shahbaz, & Anthony review Jonathan Glazer’s THE ZONE OF INTEREST as part of The Movie Podcast's 2023 Toronto International Film Festival coverage. The film won the Grand Prix at this year’s Cannes and is adapted from a 2014 novel of the same title by Martin Amis. The film stars Sandra Hüller and Christian Friedel and is a horror about Auschwitz commandant Rudolf Höss and his wife, who quite literally live amongst the ashes of their actions. The Zone of Interest has its North American Premiere Sunday September 10 at the Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto with a release coming soon by Elevation Pictures and A24.
