We have Julian Chisholm firmly in our sights and for good reason; he goes missing at exactly the right time and we've discovered he shares a very unusual jaw deformity with the victim.

But there's a problem - the German police are convinced the Gentleman of Heligoland is between 45-50 years of age, and Julian Chisholm is only 30 when he goes missing.

Surely that rules Julian Chisholm out......?

It's been a year, but we're back - and we're back because of a tip off. A suggestion that we might look at an intriguing case from the early 1990s and see where it takes us. 

And as it turns out, it proves to be well worth investigating.

We've found ourselves focussing on a series of horrific crimes perpetrated in Belgium. A crime spree that involved a very tall man - A man known as The Giant by the Belgian police. We needed to know more about this man to see if there was any potential link to the Gentleman. There was one person who we could turn to; A journalist who has been covering that case for over 20 years - and it's a fascinating story.

We are on the lookout for Giants, and we've found a 6'5" man who is acquitted of murder, with striking similarities to the Gentleman, but that all depends on what happens to him afterwards? And is he the only giant we need to be taking a much closer look at?

With great help from our Facebook group members we are able to finally identify the man who fell from the Pride of Flanders, a few months before the Gentleman of Heligoland was found.

Armed with his name, we are able to start piecing together what happened, how exactly he fits into the story and where that can take us next.

Thanks to a listener, we discover another report on the case, which reveals critical new information. Information that allows us to analyse the injuries in more detail. What does this tell us about how the Gentleman of Heligoland met his death?

There’s a lot going on. We find another piece of information about the man who went missing from the Pride of Flanders, explore how the currents in the English Channel and North Sea may takes objects far from where they entered the water, and then the police issue a new press release that reveals some interesting insights into how their thoughts are developing and provides some new information we can immediately get to work with.

We are able to identity someone in Heligoland who may be able to helps us, and they cast a completely new light on the mystery. 

I'd been away on holiday – but I get two missed calls from Toronto Missing Persons with news of their missing person. We also uncover something strange going on that means that the discovery of the unidentified body of the Gentleman of Heligoland wasn’t the only mystery that happened in the North Sea in Summer 1994 and these two mysteries may just be connected.
