The New Flesh still somehow manages to cling to life after a brutal HELLRAISER 6 & 7 double feature. Before explaining exactly how the franchise lost its way, Brett and Joe get incredibly deep while discussing Mike Birbiglia's new feature DON'T THINK TWICE as well as Richard Linklater's new sort-of-sequel to DAZED AND CONFUSED. Brett won't shut up about seeing THE WILD BUNCH in 35mm at Lincoln Center, and Joe finally doubles down on Brett's recommendations of KRISHA and THE WITCH. After Brett does all he can to ruin Joe's favorite new Bushwick theater/restaurant, the gears eventually shift back to HELLRAISER, but they probably shouldn't have, honestly.
