Bjarte Eike and his Barokksolistene project have been making waves in the classical (well, technically Baroque, but you all know what I mean...) music scene through his audacious performances which dare to make this music fun and relevant to modern audiences, resulting in an incredibly charming fusion of baroque, folk, and jazz styles. Bjarte Eike's approach to baroque performance breathes new life into this old music tradition while staying true to its essence - an incredibly difficult feat to achieve!
