Ep. 16: Running with the Demon

Greetings! Welcome to the Orbital Sword! David, Scott and Jim are pleased to bring you their thoughts on the very first book in the Shannara saga, Running with the Demon by Terry Brooks.  Set in the modern era, this fantasy is set in a small town where everything seems to be coming together. The book focuses on a young girl who has a big job. She stands at a crossroad to either being a benevolent person, or perhaps contributing to the downfall of life on Earth as we know it. Two people, one a Knight of the Word, and the other, a demon try too make the girl take a path in their favor. Lots of action and thoughtfully written, this is an interesting read.
