Neil R. Storey is an award-winning author with a canon of over 50 published books. He is internationally recognized as an expert on British ghosts, legends, and folklore. He also has a great passion for Bram Stoker and his greatest novel – Dracula. He has amassed one of the finest collections of Bram Stoker material in private hands and is the author of a new biography of Bram due for publication in 2023. Neil is the creator of the Grim Almanac series of books that chart the ghosts, dark deeds and folkloric history of Britain by county, including Jack the Ripper's London. He is also the author of the ground-breaking Dracula Secrets and such volumes as London Crime Death and Debauchery, The Ghost Hunter's Guide to Norfolk, Victorian Prisons and Prisoners, and The Victorian Criminal, The Little Book of Murder and The Little Book of Death. He has been the Master of Ceremonies for numerous crime conferences and special paranormal events and is the historian for numerous ghost tours of Britain. Neil has led paranormal investigations at some of the most haunted and historic sites across Britain since 1988. Neil is a graduate of the University of East Anglia; he lectures for both social and academic audiences across the UK. He often appears as a guest expert on TV and radio, such as BBC Who Do You Think You Are?, Most Haunted, Classified Britain, and Help My House is Haunted!
