500px & The Photographer Mindset

In this episode, we're joined by Stephanie (@that_girl_named_steph) and Rhiannon (@rhimarq) from @500px who tell us all the in's and out's of the 500px platform and how it's built to serve the photographer first. On this podcast we're always talking about how much we love the platform and how we incorporate it into our photography practice. We wanted listeners to get even more details straight from the people who work there.

In this episode we talk about how 500px is a platform where you always know what you're going to get when you log on.... great photography. No irrelevant memes, no distractions, just good inspiring imagery. We also discuss "Quests", 500px's innovative photography contests. The themes of them are always changing and they're an excellent way for photographers to get their work noticed but also win some great prizes. Lastly we talk about developing a personal brand as a photographer and how to approach that.
