This episode features a talk with Lydia Ripplinger (@lydebug), an incredible wildlife photographer and the owner of feature account @best_birds_of_ig. Lydia is an extremely talented photographer and artist, yet she isn't overzealous and doesn't take herself too seriously. Her photos are easily some of the best circulating around the wildlife photography genre.
In this episode we talk about the difference between a photo you believe to be artistic and what actually performs well on social media. Sometimes those two categories overlap in a sweet spot. We discuss Lydia's workflow in post processing and how the excitement of a shoot flows well into the editing phase. Lastly, we get into what a great photo should invoke or aim to achieve simply beyond the cliche of telling a good story.
