Friends, it’s a very busy time these days — for news, for all of our hectic lives — but for a moment we pause for Memorial Day to commemorate those who died in military service for the United States.
As we honor those men and women, I’d like to tell you a story about a man who wore the uniform — for the US Army — and then later served as a CIA Officer.
His name is Douglas Seymour MacKiernan. And he’s the very first CIA officer to die in the line of duty.
