Kolbe, dehydrated and clinging to life, prays with the remaining inmates of his cell, singing hymns to his lady - Mary.

Saint Maximilian Kolbe always wanted to be a knight. His Lady was the Blessed Virgin Mary. and he served her with total love. His early story teaches lessons of courage, faith, and love of neighbor, as well as enthusiasm in loving God. His death teaches a lesson of total self-sacrifice and love, even in the darkest of all circumstances. 

This series contains moments of intensity and fear. A concentration camp is depicted. A group of Auschwitz prisoners are referred to as “mongrels.” A group of prisoners are slowly starved to death and their deaths are referenced. Before their deaths, they argue with one another with raised voices, but are converted by Fr. Kolbe. A character is sick and close to death. Several deaths of illness are referenced. An execution by lethal injection is described.
