1,537 killed in Gaza as war intensifies

Israel now says it is unleashing a large scale strike on Hamas. The crisis is Gaza is deepening tonight amid mounting deaths and widespread destruction. Israel is vowing to cut off critical supplies to Gaza until Hamas frees dozens of hostages believed to be hidden underground. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is holding urgent talks in the region, showing US solidarity with Israel, and likening the brutality of Hamas to the worst of ISIS.
