Gen. Milley Again Contradicts Biden, Talks Of Trumps Final Days

Gen. Milley contradicts President Joe Biden again and speaks about former President Donald Trump's final days. Milley was not consulted when Trump initially ordered a total troop withdrawal from Afghanistan by mid-January 2021. Top generals again contradict Biden in testimony and say that they wanted 2,500 troops to stay in Afghanistan.

Pelosi and Schumer rush to the White House to meet with Biden as Democrat divisions deepen ahead of a critical vote on Biden's agenda. Pelosi and Schumer scrapped a planned phone call with Biden and opted for a face-to-face talk at the White House instead. 

Sen. Joe Manchin rejected Pelosi's call for a deal on the economic package ahead of the key vote on Thursday. Manchin says that he will not budge before Thursday's vote and won't support "trillions in spending or an all or nothing approach." 

The House votes to extend the debt ceiling until December. The bill is expected to fail in the Senate.
