Gov. DeSantis: FL already experiencing storm surge from Idalia

Hurricane Idalia is a powerful Category 2 storm and is still strengthening as it closes in on Florida’s Gulf Coast. Gov. Ron DeSantis provides an update as officials warn that catastrophic devastation and death are very possible. Parts of Florida are being lashed by Idalia right now. Plus, the Fulton County district attorney asked a Georgia judge for an October trial date for Trump and his 18 co-defendants.
