White House Announces Pandemic National Emergency Extended

The White House has announced that the pandemic national emergency has been extended into its second year. The FDA said that the Johnson & Johnson vaccine meets the requirements for the emergency use authorization. According to the White House, three to four million doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is to be allocated by next week if it gets authorized by the FDA. Moderna has updated its covid-19 vaccine designs to combat the South America coronavirus variant. 

The White House is sending 25 million free masks to community centers and food banks. 

According to Dr. Fauci, a study shows that some people had symptoms of covid 9 months after covid. 

President Joe Biden has signed an executive order concerning the economy. Biden says that the cabinet delays are due to "failure to have a transition that was rational." Biden's White House battles the GOP opposition on the covid relief package, ahead of the house vote on Friday.
