In part 2 , I’m taking you back to my waters breaking (again?!) on New Year's Eve, I was told to stay in the hospital bed, Pitocin was pushed at shift change, and—something I’ve never shared before—I was talked into fentanyl (spoiler: there's a good learning point here). Add in a cervical lip being manually pushed back, and coached pushing so intense I popped every blood vessel in my face... and it's the "perfect" no-epidural hospital birth.
