Welcome to The Voice of Intuition Podcast. Let’s start with this. Close your eyes, my friend, and do nothing. Yes, absolutely nothing. There is no task, no goal here. Simply watch and feel your breath as it enters and leaves your body.
When listening to this episode, be still and observe. Let each inhale and exhale remind you that life is happening through you. Don’t try to control the breath; let it flow naturally, as it always does, without effort.
Today, Laura shares her “Cloud Train” meditation she does every morning. You can observe the clouds outside throughout your day and the clouds that may appear in your mind as fear, anxiety, or untimely imposed pressures to do this or that. By observing, you come back to what is genuine for you. When you trust your life and listen within, the correct timing of your life happens through observation. Let the breath anchor you at this moment, and you will see the nervousness dissolve into the quieter rhythm of life.
In this episode, Laura discusses our wild minds and how easily we feel fear. This episode is not about the instinctual survival fear that can happen instantly in a disaster or tragedy. She asks you to look closely at your fear and nervousness connected to the future or the past, neither of which is now.
Observe fear and nervousness as if they were something outside of you. Yet, you’re not disconnected or ignoring it. Do not judge it; do not fight it—just notice. Fear is a projection, a phantom conjured by the mind when seen clearly. Most of the time, fear isn’t relevant to the present moment but a future that has not yet arrived and may never arrive.
Your mind buzzes into a future that does not exist, and by doing so, you are blind to the realness of this moment, keeping fear, anxiety, worry, etc., at the top of your mind. Anger, fear, and hate need to be observed for what they are and not to be fueled more. It only hurts your body, any situation, or your intuitive mind as it attempts to offer a solution. Remember, observation is human and soul-level perspective and power. Observation gives you presence and peace over your wild mind and allows perspective to guide your emotions.
Allow your mind to observe the negative emotions; that process will allow you to welcome yourself back home to your body, where you will find peace waiting. Your attention is on this moment, and you can watch the disconnection of the fear occur within you—like the Cloud Train changing form right before you.
Realize that you are safe in the here and now. It is your safest place, no matter what is occurring. Each moment of self-awareness allows your voice of intuition to guide you effortlessly if you listen and trust that voice.

The building's emergency evacuation alarm went off!
I grabbed my purse and laptop, and instead of worrying, as I intuitively assessed the building and knew all would be well, I went into wonder.
“I wonder how fast and safely I can get down these 16 flights of stairs.”
Dropping that thought about “how” and just doing it, I could not help but think of the thousands of people in the Twin Towers in New York that day, 9/11. Or anyone trying to get out of harm's way.
Wondering about others became more poignant as I flew down the stairs. One of the security team members came running up the stairs, potentially into the fray. His duty-filled bravery, mixed with worry, shot from his eyes into mine.
When I got down to street level, the emergency was called off. Everything was under control. However, I still wondered about the man who ran up the stairs past me. Well done, sir. Well done. I blew him an energetic kiss of gratitude.
Worry comes to us all. Wonder, though, is really not that far off. For example, “I’m worried about this. I wonder what I can do about it?”
These words flow together and are closer than the worried part of us wants to admit. Listen in; the bottom line is to worry less and wonder more. Enjoy the episode!

I created the name for this show in 2020, The Voice of Intuition podcast, so that we could develop our intuition and listening skills regarding our authentic voice—the spoken voice and the still, small voice within.

In a world filled with constant noise and endless distractions, the ability to listen intuitively is both a gift and a skill. Intuitive listening is about tuning into the deeper currents beneath the surface, capturing the essence of what is truly being communicated. How do we begin anything when everything around us keeps moving? Like the ocean waves, life is rolling all of the time. Sometimes, the waves are large or smaller. They still roll in and out––low tide and high tide. It doesn't matter if there is sunshine, torrential rain, or winds; they're still rolling in and out.

As spiritual people, we seek the transcendent, sometimes pushing ourselves in practices - meditation, contemplations, and prayer in order to find those perfect moments of “I’m present.”
Yet, being present is not a lush canopy, ever-so-delicate and ungraspably transient, inviting us into a dance of light and being.
The question is, does your sense of presence have a shelf life? Is presence a state of luminescence that is fleeting? Let’s take a whimsical and practical exploration into our wild, untamed minds, unearthing this paradox: the endeavor to cage this fleeting sunbeam, to be ‘intentionally’ present.
Ah, our exuberant minds, akin to a free-spirited butterfly, untethered through the fields of our consciousness, occasionally alighting upon a flower of thought, yet never lingering too long lest the present petals wither under the weight of purposeful focus.
Oh MY!!!
Our thoughts cascade. They rumble, They roar. They whimper. They delight with awe. All are present. All are consciousness. All are you and me, being you and me.
Your awareness of those unforced touches of attention is being present. That is when we can taste its seemingly elusive essence. Yet, you are often present to the fact that you are not being present — the paradox.
May we embrace the practical effervescence of our minds and bask in each moment, neither clutching nor shying away, to dance, ever-so-lightly, with the enchanting spirit of now, which forever swirls within our tangible lives.

In this Episode we’re taking about how the soul of you, the part of you, which is divine. This and your intuitive voice, the voice of your divinity, supports you no matter what’s happening in your life.
We’ve all had Dark Nights, some of which can last for much longer than we’d like. Today, I’m sharing a portion of one of my Dark Nights. While in the midst of this, I discovered the darkness is profoundly supported by the Light.
As healers, we are brave and a little crazy. We naturally go into the darkness to shine Light. That’s your job as a healing person, no matter your station or occupation in life.

“Testing … 1, 2, 3, testing.” That's the only line I deleted from this podcast episode. Because, at first blush, that was my intention, to test the sound equipment I just set up and delete the entire recording.
But the voice of my soul took over. I was so excited to connect with all of you again, I just let it fly with intention to let you know what’s up. What is the Great Experiment?
As it turned out the sound system was not so sound. It’s more like me speaking into a tin can with string … sorry about that. I have some wires to uncross and toggles to move hither and yon.
However, I didn’t want to delete this track. The message of this Great Experiment I’ve begun, is more about the inner world in which I find myself. The inner world which is perhaps fluctuating inside of you too.

Hey, there, I’m Laura Alden Kamm and somehow I ended up being in service as a medical intuitive, integrating various philosophies to help navigate my way though the initial dense forest of understanding what intuition is and isn’t.
In the beginning, I tripped and fell over stumps of information, which I wondered if it could even be real or true. I wondered why was I getting messages and information about things which I didn’t know or have possession?
As I look back, streaming internal information was easy and normal. At some point though, I shut it down. I put a muffle — rather a choke hold — on this voice of intuition. Ten years past, then to get my attention, God swooped in and said, “Architecture school? Naw. Reboot. System failure! Reboot reboot!”
And I reboot I did — blind, coma, death, heaven, recover.

I’m joined by a heroic and wise woman — Adelaide Lenox. After being told she had a year to live at the young age of 13, the now 44-year-old survivor learned so much about listening to her own intuition. She took steps on her journey to heal instead of cure, which made all the difference. She shares her wisdom how healing can occur in many different forms.
Leading up to a cancer diagnosis, it’s easy to think you are invincible. That’s how it was for today’s guest, Adelaide Lenox, until the day she learned that she had malignant cancer. When life threw her the toughest curveball yet, she realized that while it is important to listen to doctors, it is more important to listen to yourself.

It feels awful when you’re confused, sad, and don’t know what to do. When the heavens knock at your door, you know there’s a new direction calling. It’s up to you to answer the call. But how do you do that when its tough. You know the old saying, “When the goign gets tough, the tough get going.”
I say, “When the going gets tough, go inside and then get going.” Sometimes we have to breathe our way through things, instead of breezing our way through.
Somewhere, some how a way is illuminated. It always is; even if we can’t see it in the moment. In today’s show, we’ll break down principles, which will help when you’re looking at an uphill battle. Whatever you’re facing, there is a pathway through it.
Learn to turn your intuitive lens to a new perspective. Observe yourself. Observe the beauty in the world. Don’t sink into the anger and fear that is here and now, and within so many. This is not a head-in-the-sand approach. It’s even, realistic, honest, authentic and will lead you home.
My dad would often paraphrase one of Jesus’s sayings when he knew one of his committees needed to take a break, “It’s time for us to go apart, before we come apart.”
Today, step apart from the world for a few minutes. Refuel within your internal sanctuary. The world needs you whole and balanced in the midst of our crazed environment.
We need a little sprinkle of grace. We’ve just completed election day here in the USA. However, the tumult is not over, here or in other areas of the world.
We need to calm ourselves, hopefully calming the trembling fields of energy and present stress of COVID-19. Let’s put down our frustrations, anger, and exhausted fear and call forth grace. Our cells need it.
Grace is a palpable literal substance. I'm sure you’ve felt it. Grace can befall us when we least expect it (thank you God) or when we intentionally call grace forward.
Today, let’s begin a practice of cultivating grace. It's a simple process of being of present to yourself and inviting in a stronger awareness of the ever-present substance and sustenance of healing grace.
I trust this practice shared within today’s podcast will serve you today and for many days to come.
Anxiety is debilitating. I get it. It’s like being the scared cat up in the tree and the one on trying to talk the cat down at the same time. That’s not easy.
Yet, you have the power to breathe… That basic function, as you know, calms the body faster and is most effectively. Yet, when we’re anxious, what do we do? We STOP breathing. Odd little paring, wouldn’t you say?

[02:05] How Scott and I met almost ten years ago as I was teaching a workshop in Scottsdale, Arizona. I was immediately attracted to his energy and healing ability - I found many colors in and around his being. I felt an awareness of power and energy within Scott.
[05:10] Intuition is a skill everyone has; we just need to let it bloom on its own. The information that comes through this system will guide you in where you need to be.
[06:00] Scott sees and senses energy patterns and how they are layered on a person’s energy field. His healing sessions consist of finding the source of your energy patterns where they originate. Scott divides the body into quadrants, which helps him see the energy in each quadrant, which tells stories.
[10:43] He tells how he sees auras and chakras in a person’s energy field and how he uses these skills to determine where the energy is to understand the “kink” location in the energy field.
[15:22] The level of accountability and personal responsibility of healing clients is paramount to self-healing with blameless forgiveness. How COVID is affecting people’s inner self-reflection and enlightenment.
[20:10] Scott tells how our current stories differ greatly from our original traumatic experience, which may have happened decades previous to our healing. He also defines somatic therapy and examples of grief.

Today I’m with Christine Deitz, and we are answering questions from all over the world on Wednesday Q & A! Listen in to five souls who have concerns about decisions they are making in life and how to move forward in their journey.
One listener, Yvonne, isn’t sure she trusts her intuition when seeking a job. What can she do to be able to trust her inner voice? She can pull herself back from being scattered by sitting by herself, going for a quiet walk, and slow things down. While she may not have a considerable amount of time to make her career choice, she still needs to get the more contemplative time and to slow down so she can hear her inner voice.
A writing exercise I suggest is to start writing down the sentences that are chattering at you and note the emotional intelligence that is coming through next to your sentence. Additionally, wherein your body are you feeling the physical effects.
Becky from British Columbia writes to us asking about her daughter-in-law, who has been married to her son for ten years. Every time they see each other, her daughter-in-law bristles, however, she isn’t sure why she is behaving this way towards her.
Primarily, from an intuitive standpoint, there is a conceptual issue from the way she and her daughter-in-law perceives. Since you each have a different perspective, you can easily perceive that the other person can’t hear you. Everyone is at different frequencies, and when that happens in a family, there are too many frequencies to listen to, including the unspoken signals. Pay attention to the language you are using, and are you naturally using different languages and conceptualization?
James, like many people, is experiencing high levels of anxiety. I feel that he is creative, and tapping into his creativity will give him calmness and a sense of peace. Creativity must be expressed, or anxiety will well up. Using your gifts points your spirit toward the North Star and will relieve your stress.

Let’s talk about the fear of the unknown. What do we do when we are facing the unknown? Once we move out of fear, we need to be strategic about our actions. The quality of our decision is affected by the amount of time we get to make that decision. While fear propels us into motion, we need to feel where anxiety is affecting our bodies.
Remember, we all have an intuitive system. With intuition, you can pick up many small nuances by just listening and practicing. Using your five senses, you can gather information through your intuitive system. Pay attention to how you feel inside. If you aren’t connected to your words and your thoughts, you can feel disheveled and not focused.
When I was talking to someone recently, I noticed a void and emptiness in their chest that didn’t match up with their words. My job is to use my intuition to see incongruencies in people. Once I can find the inequality, I can move that person to the right path. I asked her to tell me what she was feeling at her core. As she talked, the incongruence began unfolding itself and expressed the truth about her heart and where she is in her core. This resulted in her growing inconsistency.
All of life follows a sense of order. Any system can be interrupted by another system. Right now, COVID is affecting our system of life. This virus has put a halt on our standard system and disrupted our way of living. The interruption came suddenly and erupted into our everyday life.

Let's have a conversation about contemplation and the different aspects of contemplation. Today, I'll talk about a few of the principles, how to move through the act of contemplating, and how to get into a more centered space when we are feeling off-balance.
Contemplative practice is a structured practice without structure. This is an inward practice that allows you to connect and discover and centralize your mind. When you're more centered, you have more access to that which is outside of you, including the unknown.
Contemplation works, although the result isn't what you have imagined. Working in the opposite way of planning out what's essential, contemplation is a state of being. You're in a bold state of allowing connection. This gives you the ability to connect on levels you can't imagine.
Without the ability to connect, it's challenging to come to a place of genuine compassion for yourself or anyone else. Connecting gives us the ability to tap into our emotions and tell us where we are at any given moment.
Compassion is a level above empathy and another level above sympathy. Contemplative practice allows us to connect on a humble and passionate level. Compassion comes in an awakening form and is stabilizing to your body. It changes the way you view the world and the language that arises within you.

Many people don't understand how to use their intuition. Today, I'm going to talk about why it's necessary to understand the anatomy of your intuition. Did you know that there is a defined structure to your intuition? It's true!
The structure was always a topic I had an infinity to study. Little did I know this interest came from my ability to witness, see, and sense the unseen and the observed dynamics that were going on in the world around me. Everything has a structure, whether we see it or not.
Intuition allows you to sense that unseen structure and your body will enable you to feel it and interpret the data that your nervous system is receiving. You don't have to be a mystic or particular person to have intuition. We are all born with intuition, it's a natural skill we all have, but no one actually teaches us how to use this skill. As a result, we end up not understanding or knowing how to use our intuition effectively.
Trust is the most significant problem people have when it comes to their intuition. The self-doubt this generates creates a scenario where we run over ourselves and ignore our intuition. When you have a question pop up in your mind, and then an answer comes to you, this is your intuition working for your better good! Your intuitive system is the system in which ideas and solutions flow.
Malcolm Gladwell's book Wink talks about how our intuition is the strongest when we know what we're doing, however; we don't have to be an expert in a field to get an answer for our questions.
