Before the genesis of Batman there was The Shadow. But after the movie Batman 1989 there was The Shadow 1994. Aiming to capatalise on a comic book trend kicked off by Warner Brothers and Tim Burton it sees Alec Baldwin, a contender for the role of Bruce Wayne, manifesting the ghostly presence of Lamont Cranston. By day, good time millionaire playboy. By night, a guy with a hat and a bandana and a prosthetic nose with vague mystical powers which he uses to fight crime. Anyways it bombed.
