Monica Marie Smith (Moonastira) was born in 1971 in Aberdeen, WA. Born in the Pacific Northwest, she was taught various ways of living in harmony with the earth, by her Grandmother Hazel, who’s mom was a Sami from Finland. Monica's love for nature and caring about the earth has always been her passion. In her early years, she was a dancer, performing at local shows and festivals until she finished high school. In 2000, she set out to find out what her spirituality was, and by the following year she settled on being a solitary practitioner of the old ways. Since that time, she has been guided by many magical people, who has always there for her to help her on her journey.   In 2014 she relocated to Kansas, where she met and was guided by a local practitioner. They suggested that she move back to the Northwest to take care of old ties. In heeding the advice, during this journey she ended up meeting her partner, a witch from the East Coast. Today she is doing what she loves, which is traveling and making music, and helping others reach their highest ideals, though assisting them with prison outreach."   Harold Sanford Carter III or “The Lone Wolf” as he is called, got into music during a difficult time in his life. During that time, he chose to focus of self-growth, including expanding his musical interests. He joined a self-development program, where the members banged on tables and sang originally written songs; which often related to their troubled lifestyles. In those days, with dreams of pursuing a career in music, Harold recalls reviewing music and music production magazines. It was then that he decided to dedicate himself to making those dreams a reality. Throughout most of the Lone Wolf's life, he has struggled with alcoholism. Unfortunately, this addiction had a negative impact on his musical career.   During his time of reflection, Harold studied metaphysics, Wicca, Witchcraft, ceremonial magick, and the occult. Although Harold at times found it difficult to evolve beyond his past, he held on to his deep faith in Wicca. It was with divine intervention through this faith, that he was set free. Harold got into Esoteric/Pagan music naturally, because his music has always reflected his life. He enjoys his musical Pagan path because it's his way to reflect on the things he learns spiritually. He also finds that it is his most powerful repetitional magic.   The Lone Wolf comes from an eat, or be eaten culture. The intellectualism during confinement in America is very different from the cognitive thinking of people in standard society. Harold’s most difficult endeavor is releasing this domestication and applying true spiritual enlightenment to his life. As such, his music is a reflection of his life, including overcoming his hardships. The elders within the Pagan community often shine candles, which provide him guidance on his path. In recent days, his alignment to spirit has served him well. Harold is currently an advocate for incarcerated pagans with substance abuse issues. Not as a Counselor, per say. He demonstrates to the pagan community and to the world that positive change is possible. Harold has led and continues to lead with his actions. This is shown strongly in his music, which is reflected by his lifestyle.   We hope you'll check them at the links above.
