A Conversation with NATHALIE MAKOMA

Nathalie Makoma, born on in Gabon, began her musical journey with her family band, originally named Nouveau Testament, in 1993. The band, which comprised her siblings Annie, Pengani, Tutala, Duma, and Martin, later became known as Makoma. This early experience laid a solid foundation for her career in music, deeply rooted in Christian pop and R&B genres. Nathalie gained significant public attention through her involvement with Makoma. She capitalized on this platform to launch her solo career, releasing albums such as "I Saw the Light" in 2005. Her talent and voice led her to the final stages of the Dutch singing competition Idols, solidifying her status in the music industry.
