Tonight’s Hadith at first appears to be a narration of great complexity with a series of multiple lists; the Prophet ﷺ describes purity as a major component of faith, reminds us of the value of dhikr (remembrances of Allah), of the specific virtues of prayer, charity, patience etc. But how is this narration tied together? Is it a list with varying lessons or is there a thread that runs through each point, bringing a cohesive lesson to the front of our minds?
