Join us as we welcome Cry Club, the Melbourne-based genre-bending duo known for their queer bubblegum punk sound. After capturing attention with their debut record "God I'm Such A Mess," which earned nominations at both AIR and Music Victoria Awards, Cry Club are back with their highly anticipated second album, "Spite Will Save Me." In this episode, Heather Riley and Jono Tooke share insights into recording the album during lockdown, their sound experimentation, and collaboration with Alex from Kingswood. We also explore how the band drew inspiration from queer icons of the past, and we discuss them FINALLY being able to tour!
