'Yojimbo', the Original Man With No Name (Kurosawa) - EPISODE 45

We are wrapping up our Kurosawa round with one of his most remade films and the movie that set Toshiro Mifune on his course for stardom, 'Yojimbo'. The story of a nameless ronin who enters a village where two rivals are struggling for control of the local gambling trade. The ronin convinces both sides to hire him as a personal bodyguard, then sets in motion a full-scale gang war between the two ambitious and unscrupulous men.  

We are joined by Jordan Johnson, from Team Ratnado on Twitch.tv. We chatted about the emotional control of Toshiro Mifune and how 'Yojimbo' has influenced film (we're looking at you, 'A Fistful of Dollars'!).
