'You Were Never Really Here' and Jonny Greenwood's Powerful Score (Female Gaze) - EPISODE 48

Our third and final entry into the "Female Gaze" round is 'You Were Never Really Here', written and directed by Lynne Ramsay. Joaquin Phoenix plays Joe, a traumatized veteran unafraid of violence, who tracks down missing girls for a living. As we dig deeper into the film, and Joe's psyche, we see how past trauma's serve as a catalyst for present and future actions.
