Episode 39 - Windtalkers

Right now (and for a long time) the world is a mess. Not only do we need to tackle the global health and economic pandemic that is COVID-19, but the pandemic that is systematic racism continues to run rampant in the United States. Anyone who knows the hosts of this podcast knows that we actively fight against racism whenever we see it - sometimes against the people we love the most. Because we have many listeners who do not know us personally, I wanted to make it clear that we are trying to do what is right and also stay in our lane as a silly podcast on the life of Nicolas Cage. I'll be honest with you - this week's episode is slightly racially charged. We discuss a movie that should have focused on the brave Navajo Marines of WWII, but it instead featured Nic Cage as the star. If you don't already know, we are watching every Nicolas Cage movie in chronological order...this week's movie was not hand selected. Hanna and Steve take a lighter look at this movie and crack a few jokes, but we don't want to be insensitive.
