We’re joined by John Storrs Hall – known to his friends as Josh – to discuss the visionary idea for Nanotech Utility Fog as a "universal simulator" that he first proposed back in 1993 as a swarm of self-reconfiguring modular nano-robots. (links below)
Josh is a subject matter expert and key influencer in the field of molecular nanotechnology, and the author of "Nanofuture: What's Next for Nanotechnology", a fellow of the Molecular Engineering Research Institute and Research Fellow of the Institute for Molecular Manufacturing.
His achievements also include former roles as a computer systems architect at Rutgers University, the founder of the sci.nanotech Usenet newsgroup, founding chief scientist of Nanorex Inc., and former president of the Foresight Institute.
