Jake is a futurist, thought leader, and intelligence expert, and teaches courses on international relations, intelligence tradecraft, and geopolitical futures. He is also an advisor to the State Department and teaches at the Foreign Service Institute. He founded the US Air Force's Strategic Foresight and Futures Team, and leads a team that helps senior leaders in the Intelligence Community, the Department of Defense, and the State Department embrace uncertainty and build anticipatory thinking.
