Dr. Richard Carter is a computer scientist and strategic advisor to government and industry on emerging technologies and strategic change.
For over 25 years Rich has applied cutting-edge technologies to solve hard organizational problems. He has worked both as a leader and as a strategic advisor, for startups and multinationals, mainly in the IT, telecommunications and defense sectors. He has produced BAFTA-nominated video games and has featured in The Guardian, The Times, New Scientist and the BBC.
He currently holds an Honorary research position at the University of Bristol, he is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a Fellow of the British Computer Society, and a Chartered IT Professional. He has a PhD in Complexity Science, a Masters in Business Administration, a Masters in Nanotechnology, a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and a postgraduate certificate in Law.
