Captain Robert Salas (Ret.) served as the on-duty commander of of an underground ICBM launch control facility assigned to Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana during a widely publicized UFO encounter in 1967. Bob is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, with military experience as a Weapons Controller, flying target drones, commanding ICBM's as a launch officer, and as an Air Force missile propulsion engineer on the Titan III program.
