IBM's new "Condor" quantum computing chip has 1,121 qubits, but a chasm remains in scaling quantum computers to meet commercial applications. Dr. Robert Sutor discusses his new paper, "Crossing the Quantum Chasm".
Dr. Robert Sutor is a quantum computing subject matter expert, Vice-President and Chief Quantum Advocate at Infleqtion (formerly ColdQuanta), and author of “Dancing With Qubits”, which follows his publication of several other computer-science books.
Dr. Sutor has a BA in Mathematics from Harvard and both an MA and PhD in Mathematics from Princeton University. His career includes over 40 years of technology industry expertise, including over 2 decades of senior-leadership positions at IBM.
