Joey Holman and Roddy Bottum are Man on Man. They've spent most of the pandemic traveling from New York to LA, caring for their mothers and writing their first musical collaboration. But Man on Man is more than music, it has a strong visual aspect that expresses body positivity that has resonated with the queer community. There is also a communal component called Chosen Family, which serves as a platform for community support, activism and it aims to bring people together through art and real human engagement.
In this episode Joe, Joey and Roddy talk about the good and bad habits they've developed over the last year, the hard work and responsibility the Man on Man record has brought to their lives and what their plans are in the near future. We hear a couple tunes from the new record and Joey and Roddy tell us what they've been listening to. Enjoy.
