On July 10, 2015, two-year-old DeOrr Kunz vanished while on a camping trip with his young parents. The circumstances were...bizarre to say the least. The family was in the middle of the woods, miles from the nearest road. Little DeOrr had been walking with his parents, then turned to walk the 100 or so feet back to his grandfather. It was broad daylight. And in the split second that nobody was looking at the boy, he vanished, No trace of him was ever found. The case sounds odd until you discover that there are hundreds of cases just like this one, with many of the same circumstances.
That's right, over the last 50 years, hundreds of people--many of them children--have vanished in broad daylight from campsites and national forests all over the country. Missing 411 tries to figure out what the hell is happening.
