A member of hard rock/metal band Sound Barrier since 1983, he has also recorded and performed with acts such as Mother’s Finest, Fishbone, O.G. Funk, Dug Pinnick, 24-7 Spyz, Praise the Dead and the Funk Experience with Billy Bass Nelson and Gary Mudbone Cooper. 

The man brings together three wonderful things: hard rock, hard funk and shredding guitar. Here he talks much about Funkadelic's Eddie Hazel, Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello and many other amazing players he has met, played with and/or looked up to, and addresses the matter of biases against black rockers through the years.
