During the 1980s, he recorded, collaborated and performed with some of funk’s top artists, including Bootsy Collins, George Clinton, Junie Morrison, Midnight Star, Dayton, Mico Wave, Roger Troutman, Heatwave, Sun, Slave, Lakeside, the Dazz Band, Pieces of a Dream and the Ohio Players. 

He then went on to become an Emmy-winning television music composer. His recent credits include Bootsy’s 2020 album The Power of the One.
