Everything is Awesome (9/2/24)

The politics of joy extend beyond the Third Reich and into Mao's China. The three red banners were used by Mao to mobilize people to build back a better socialist state on the ashes of the nationalist one that had just been replaced. These are all things being utilized by the current White House and their new nominee. Objective reality aside, if you don't smile in the face of dystopia then you are responsible for everyone's misery. Things cost too much? Just smile. Everything is awesome!
