NASA has again confirmed that officially reported UAPs cannot be confirmed as extraterrestrial in origin, largely due to the fact that the evidence is so low resolution a scientific conclusion is out of the question. UFO enthusiasts may detest this claim, and cry coverup, but NASA is essentially right. However, although we may not be able to confirm these things yet, we do know that UFOs are social facts and that debating them transforms our politics and culture. We may ultimately learn more about the phenomenon from social scientists and, as Carl Jun demonstrated, psychologists, than from physicists and UFO hunters. Imagining the origin of UFOs and their assumed occupants is also a great philosophical test which could lead us to new discoveries and a type of reverse-engineering that has nothing to do with downed unidentified objects. Proof of this more internal approach to UFOs can be found in the ancient world: the sun traveled through the sky and was thus said to be flying - flying solar disc. The winged disc or solar boat is one of the original UFOs which had a dramatic impact on human civilization as it was the recognized source of all life. There is a high probability that the UFO phenomenon itself is not only a matter of what we understand in the current technological climate - chariots, shields, boats, canons, cannon balls - but itself is only a small extension of a much larger phenomenon we have yet to even conceive of, let alone identify.
