Dr. Susan Wenze is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Lafayette College. She is also a mom to 9-year-old identical twin girls. Dr. Wenze primarily teaches courses related to psychopathology and clinical/counseling psychology. Her research interests center broadly on the assessment and treatment of mood disorders and related concerns. She is particularly interested in cognitive and emotional processing in mood disorders, perinatal mental health (especially among new parents of multiples), and the development of psychosocial therapies to address depression, bipolar disorder, stress, and anxiety. She received her BA in Psychology from Cornell University and her MA and PhD in Clinical Psychology from American University. She is licensed as a clinical psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania.
