Some 5,000 bodies have been found at the foot of Niagara Falls... that's a lot of death! While Niagara Falls have always been viewed as this perfect example of the force and strength of mother nature, still, some people tested their luck by venturing a bit too close to the falls, or in some cases, voluntarily rolling in barrels over the edge. We look at some of the wildest daredevils to take on the falls, like Sam Patch, the "Yankee Leaper", a school teacher named Annie Edson Taylor and her cat, and circus professional Bobby Leach, whose biggest threat ended up being a banana peel. While these three willingly fell over the falls, there are numerous others who have stories to tell - famed tightrope walkers and unlucky fishermen. The chances of survival are slim, and so next week we come back again to talk about the hauntings and spirits who roam the Niagara Falls area.
