Over the course of the discussion we attempt to interrogate the reasons why this film was so poorly received, figure out if it is a satire, a parody, a spoof, or something completely different, take a few jabs at Spielberg's expense and maybe even pontificate over a possibility that 1941 could have worked if it was made by someone more suited to the material.
