Bill Sanders (https://soundcloud.com/bill_sanders) presents United We Rise Podcast Nr. 028 🗯🗯 How Did Corona change your artist life? 🗯🗯 I can’t say that 2020 is a bad year cause that would be a lie. On the contrary I can say that it helped me explore and extend my musical horizons more, find the time to finish my first EP with my good friend Chronis which will be released hopefully soon-ish, it gave me also time to reorganize my whole digital library and finally and also really important, gave me a lot of time for vacation which I couldn’t have had otherwise. So I really can’t say I was bored during this period. The only boring thing for me was hearing my friends saying that they were bored. 🗯🗯 Where did you record the mix and how did you feel? 🗯🗯 Now as about this podcast, I’m really honored I had the chance to participate in it. I recorded it at home and I tried to implement my feelings into it and certainly everything that I love to play. I created a relatively low-speed deep trip that doesn’t exceed the 122 BPM. So basically music to have sex to... When I came to Berlin for the first time, I realized that DJs were obsessed with speed. Both of them. But especially in music. I just couldn't follow or dance to music that was played so fast and I was kinda bored in the beginning until I found out about parties and artists that played similar music to mine. This is the reason why I decided to kick the drums a bit slower this time. 🗯🗯 What are your wishes for the time after Corona? 🗯🗯 As about the future, that’s really uncertain. I’m a control freak that likes to organize everything in detail and in the beginning of the pandemic it seemed weird to me that it was out of my power to make plans for the future but I realized that nobody can do that so now I’m laidback and I just focus on my music which gives me happiness. I just wish that everything will get back to normal, or as some call it ‘’the new normal’’, really soon. Now sit back, relax and enjoy the trip. Or just get up and dance.
