Stephan Zovsky (@stephanzovsky / 3000Grad / Sueslide) presents United We Rise Podcast Nr. 176 ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ▌I How did you prepare this mix and what was your main inspiration? I wanted to give the listener a musical summary of my work as a producer. I just love working on new music in the studio, it's a kind of therapy for me. But I also like to be a DJ, that there is now a podcast only with my own tracks was in the end a little coincidence. But it´s 100% me and i think it couldn't be more personal. ▌II Which tracks marks a highlight in your set? It's one of those things with liking..., I love all the tracks but at the same time I get annoyed with them sometimes. But my little highlight is the second track, „Thorn“. I did that with my close friend Ronny (Mollono.Bass) under our alias Green Lake Project. I love spending time with him and he's one of those people you just like to have around all day. ▌III Could you take us through a day in your life, from a possible morning routine through to your work? This is how it usually works for me: Get up at 8 o'clock in the morning. How it really works is more like this... I start the night before to set the first alarm clock at 7:30. From then on it rings every 5 minutes until I finally fall out of my bed, of course totally annoyed, because it´s 8:10 allready . In this critical phase of the day, not even Iron Man would dare to address me. On the direct way to the espresso maker I then make my way to the bathroom to brush my teeth and as soon as I hear that the coffee is ready, I stand with the cup in hand ready for my morning liter of youth and inspiration. Depending on the day, I sit around 08:30 freshly dressed in the car on the way to the 3000Grad office or in the dirty T-shirt from the day before in my studio. Around 14:00 either the hunger or my dear girlfriend reminds me of my breakfast and after the second studio round, (around 18:00) i try to end my work.
