It changed a lot because I lost the main source of income from one day to the other. Besides the financial aspect, I really miss sharing music with other people on a big sound system and have the community spirit of a typical club night or day. There are also some benefits like enough sleep, lots of sports and more time on the weekends for friends and family. I enjoy working in the studio every day and have a lot of upcoming music in the pipeline, e.g. a collaboration with Steve Bug and magic Black Soda for the 50-anniversary record of my label Rotary Cocktail Recordings. At the moment I try to refresh my programming skills and learn VST developing (plug-ins for audio processing) because I have a lot of ideas for new useful tools in the studio. 2. Where did you record the mix and how did you feel? I recorded the mix at home and I enjoyed it a lot because there is so much new amazing music out there. It's really sad that we can't dance together at a club or open air. Sometimes I had goosebumps because of some really emotional songs. In these moments I´m not the DJ but the biggest fan of the track and dance like nobody is watching. 3. What are your wishes for the time after Corona? First of all, I hope there will be no second wave of the virus during the winter months. So many clubs and artists would have to give up and it would damage our scene for years. I wish that all clubs & festivals can survive and hopefully, we can continue our culture like before corona. What we don't need is the superstar DJ stuff with crazy amounts of fees, private jets, and where social media is more important than music. Bye-bye Instagram DJs.
