Comparison says “What they’ve got is more important than what you have”
The 5 lies of Comparison:
You’re not good enough
“The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17
You don’t have enough money
They don’t have money either!
You should already be successful
You’re too dysfunctional
No one understands you
Collaboration Kills Comparison
Comparison will have you hating the people God called to help you
Comparison will have you
Other people liking you is a bonus. You liking you is the prize.
Analogy of birth —can’t do it for you, but will be there with you.
