Awarded a Royal Navy Bursary to complete a degree in Animal Sciences at London University, Ned served as a Seaman Officer for eight years in a variety roles, from diver to navigator.
On leaving the armed forces he completed a self-funded one-year full-time MBA at the Cranfield School of Management, leading to a commercial management position at International Paints, the marine coatings division of Akzo Nobel.
After three years he had the opportunity to transfer to the Veterinary Pharmaceuticals division of Akzo Nobel and so began his 20-plus year career in the Animal Health industry returning to his university degree roots. During this time Ned has held a number of senior commercial roles with category leading businesses including Pfizer and Pets at Home.
In 2017 Ned embraced the opportunity to leverage his industry experience as UK Country Manager for the European generic pharmaceutical company Krka, building a solid and growing market position for the brand in the UK, under his leadership.
