Legendary Formula 1 photographer Darren Heath joins the podcast from his home base in Auckland New Zealand to talk about the story of a young boy growing up in London with a passion for F1 Racing and photography, and how he would combine those two loves, along with years of hard work and persistence, to create a storied career of more F1 Grand Prix than you could count, working with a who's who list of the top companies in the world to form the beautiful body of work he is known for today.  During our conversation Darren talks about his unique style and outlook on the sport, how he's remained so passionate about racing and photography after all these years, what's it like trying to track a subject moving over 200 miles an hour, the inevitable burnout that can start to happen from constant travel from one continent to the next and how he has dealt with that, how he's learned to prioritize family and time, and the advice he gives to others dreaming of one day shooting the top drivers in the world.
