It’s impossible to talk skateboarding photography, without the name J. Grant Brittain in the conversation. Impossible. He’s given the CULTURE, too many classics. The early Del Mar days, Transworld Photo Annuals, iconic street skating. He’s done it all. And, a huge majority of that work- has covered our walls growing up. So, when donned with the task of interviewing Grant. I asked what every kid would ask, “do you think you have more photos of Tony Hawk than his parents?”
